Ayurveda's role in Cancer cure : Dr. Radhakrishna Pillai

Dr. Radhakrishna Pillai, a forefront cancer researcher shares his research analysis and experience in cancer treatment. Here he tells about the importance of Ayurveda in curing cancer. He says that, the Rajiv Gandhi Center for Biotechnology at Thiruvananthapuram, where he works, has developed a mouthwash made from herbal concoction, prescribed in Ayurveda, to help in reducing the intensity of pain in cancer patients undergoing radiation therapy for oral cancer.

Dr. Radhakrishna Pillai is currently the Director of the Rajiv Gandhi Center for Biotechnology at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Previously he was a professor of molecular medicine at the Regional Cancer Center (RCC), Thiruvananthapuram. He is also an elected Fellow of the National Academy of Medical Sciences and the Indian Academy of Sciences.
